Piagam Penghargaan untuk Guru dan Peserta Didik Berprestasi
Perayaan Hari St. Fransiskus Asisi ditutup dengan pembagian hadiah bagi para pemenang bertempat di lapangan SD Gembala Baik II (11/10). Peserta didik, guru beserta staff dan karyawan berkumpul di lapangan untuk mengikuti proses pembagian hadiah.
Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan doa pembukaan dan doa Salam Maria yang dipimpin oleh pak Deni Julianus. Selanjutnya, warga sekolah SD Gembala Baik II menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya yang dipimpin oleh Ibu Frisna Virginia.
Antusias warga sekolah terhadap lomba sangat tinggi. Selaras dengan apa yang disampaikan oleh Suster Fronika Saragih dalam sambutannya bahwa warga sekolah menyambut perlombaan dengan penuh semangat. Peserta lomba sudah disiapkan jauh hari sebelum lomba dimulai. “Perlombaan-perlombaan semacam ini akan terus kita tingkatkan,” ujarnya. Melalui perlombaan ini, diharapkan peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya baik dari sisi akademik maupun non akademik. Pada kesempatan yang sama, Suster juga mengingatkan peserta didik untuk selalu mematuhi protokol kesehatan dengan selalu menggunakan masker.
Rangkaian acara dilanjutkan dengan penampilan Steven Alexander Jonathan yang membawakan lagu berjudul Persahabatan. Steven merupakan peserta didik SD Gembala Baik II yang telah mewakili Kalimantan Barat pada perlombaan menyanyi solo dalam rangka Festival dan Seni Siswa Nasional (FLS2N) 2022 di tingkat nasional. Pada ajang ini, Steven berhasil menembus 19 besar. Tak kalah menarik, Joshua Eugenino Caesar unjuk kebolehannya dalam bertutur kitab suci. Joshua akan mewakili Kalimantan Barat untuk berkompetisi di tingkat nasional pada lomba Bertutur Kitab Suci dalam kegiatan Pesparani di Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur.
Penampilan yang memukau dari Steven dan Joshua ditutup dengan pembagian piala dan piagam penghargaan sekolah yang dibagikan kepada pemenang perlombaan dalam kegiatan hari St. Fransiskus Asisi. Piagam penghargaan juga diberikan kepada peserta didik yang telah mengharumkan nama sekolah baik di tingkat kecamatan, kota, provinsi maupun nasional. Penghargaan tersebut diberikan kepada Steven Alexander Jonathan, Keisya Caryssha, Immanuel Garuda Khatulistiwa Izaach, Florensius Patrick Albert, Thomas Deka Pane, dan Vederico Brillian. Suster Fronika Saragih secara khusus memberikan penghargaan kepada Ibu Anastasia Noy dan Ibu Frisna Virginia yang telah membimbing peserta didik dalam perlombaan FLS2N tahun 2022.
Panitia pelaksana kegiatan yang diketuai oleh pak Birawa Noraga berharap melalui rangkaian lomba yang telah dilaksanakan, seluruh warga sekolah lebih memahami dan mendalami hati dan peran St. Fransiskus Asisi serta meneladaninya. Semoga tali persaudaraan warga sekolah semakin erat setelah perayaan Pesta St. Fransiskus Asisi ini.
